Government Affairs Update from IFMA HQ and the California Committee

Synopsis of Program: 

Working through the Global Government Affairs Committee, IFMA seeks to connect the subject matter expertise of our members to inform legislation and highlight the role of effective facility management in achieving public policy goals such as energy efficiency, building health and safety and workforce development.
Join the Silicon Valley and East Bay Chapters in a combined meeting to get an overview of the legislative activities that IFMA has been involved with at the Federal level in D.C., and at the state level in Sacramento. Also, discover how you might be able to contribute to these efforts. 

Christian Pellecchia

Christian Pellecchia is a long time IFMA member, volunteer, and sponsor. He is currently serving on the IFMA HQ Government Affairs Committee, and he is the lead for IFMA’s Government Affairs activities in California. Christian is also past president of the IFMA Silicon Valley chapter, current President of the IFMA East Bay chapter, Treasurer of the Corporate Facilities Council, and EoFM instructor. In 2017, Christian was the recipient of IFMA’s Associate of the Year award, and in 2021 he was the recipient for the Educator of the Year award.
