This presentation will provide facilities engineers with an overview of role temporary HVAC planning plays in keeping facilities operational during emergencies, planned shutdowns, equipment replacements, and critical system interruptions. We will discuss a contingency planning approach to temporary HVAC, including how early planning can help reduce downtime, improve response time, and minimize disruption to building operations. The presentation will also cover emergency response support, key planning considerations, types of temporary equipment available, and real project examples. Attendees will leave with practical takeaways to help them better prepare for temporary cooling, heating, and airside needs before an issue occurs.
